Thanks to the creativity of the keto community, the chaffle has quickly evolved to include breakfast chaffles, sandwich chaffles, pizza chaffles, chaffle breadsticks, and even chaffle desserts like cakes. We've compiled the best keto chaffle recipes into one place so you can find the perfect chaffle for every craving!
The basic keto chaffle is perfect for all cooking skill levels from beginner to advanced keto chef! Using just two simple ingredients and a mini waffle maker, you can enjoy a delicious, keto-friendly waffle in less than 5 minutes.
Basic Keto Chaffle Macros: 105 calories, 7g fat, 1g net carbs, 9g protein
Pre-heat your waffle maker on the highest temperature setting.
While waiting, scramble egg in a bowl until evenly combined.
Once the waffle maker is ready, sprinkle half of the shredded cheese evenly over the surface.
Next, pour the scrambled egg over the layer of cheese.
Then, evenly sprinkle the remaining cheese over the scrambled egg and close the waffle maker.
Cook for 3-5 minutes or until steam the waffle maker has stopped steaming.
When it comes to the shredded cheese, any flavor will work. Try it with cheddar, mozzarella, Colby-Jack, or any other cheese blend! Each cheese will change the flavor of your chaffle slightly so experiment until you find your favorite.
It's important to set your waffle maker's temperature to high because that's the key to coveted crispy chaffle! Don't worry about the cheese burning - it will just get crispier and more delicious.
When it comes to making chaffles, it's important to have the right equipment. Though any waffle maker will technically work, most of these recipes use a mini waffle maker like the Dash Mini Waffle Maker.
